Flight plan

Science targets are Prudhoe Bay plume, dips and ascend en route over the ice, to target stratus clouds, multi-year sea ice, and lead clouds.

Flight report

Flight aborted as during approach to the ice surface after at Deadhorse the chip lamp indicating a possible engine problem. Direct return to FAI, then several loops with missed approaches to burn remaining fuel, further excursion to the SW (Denali).

Further plan is to fix the engine problem as soon as possible, could be only a minor issue. Plan for a flight the next day.
